The Iberá Marshlands, is one of the biggest wetlands on earth and comparable to the Brazilian Pantanal. In this magical place you will find more than 350 bird species, caimans, capybaras and many other species! Itinerary:

  • Day 1: Leaving from Posadas, we will explore southern Misiones grasslands and enjoy local food. In the afternoon we will drive to Northern Iberá area and after birding in key areas, we will have dinner at Iberá. Night at Iberá.
  • Day 2: Full day birding at Northern Iberá and Cambyretá area. Night at Iberá.
  • Day 3: Visit to Santa María and Bahía Carayá reserves. Boat trip at Yacyretá Lake. Night at Iberá.
  • Day 4: Birding in the morning. Drive to Posadas. End of the trip.
